About Vardis
Vardis is an Icelandic infrastructure and security brand. Its first product is Netskor.
Vardis builds websites with security built in, carries out security audits and helps with NIS2.
The name
The name comes from the Icelandic stem varð- (to guard, to watch) and "is" for Iceland.
One of Vardis's main goals is good cyber hygiene for websites.
Principles
- Passive and polite. Only public data is read, with few requests and an honest identity.
- Explainable. Every finding shows the data it rests on and the standard it refers to.
- Never wrong by silence. What could not be checked is marked as such and not counted.
- Actionable. Every problem comes with a concrete way to fix it.
- Not a legal opinion. The link to NIS2 is indicative.
